We don't provide just shelter,
the facility is designed to teach homeless individuals and families
to support themselves again and reassimilate into society.
일시적인 도움이 아닌 홈리스의 자립을 돕기위한
환경을 만들어 갑니다.
Some people think and say
" Why should we help homeless people because they got many benefits from the government?"
" Homeless people are all lazy, that is the reason why they are homeless now"
However, many of them suffer from high rates of serious mental illnesses
and addiction due to divorce, PTSD etc.
This farm was established in May 2012 to provide shelter
and a sense of hope for them and to help the homeless support themselves.
어떤 분들은
"홈리스가 정부에서 돈도 받고 있는데 왜돕느냐?" "그들은 게을러서 홈리스가 되었다"라고 말씀하십니다.
그 말씀도 맞습니다.
그러나 많은 홈리스들은 그들이 게을러서가 아니라 이혼, 실직, 전쟁참전 등으로 인한 정신적인 충격으로 인해
상처와 고통을 극복하지 못하고 있다는 것을 말씀드리고 싶습니다.
고통받고 있는 홈리스들에게 쉘터와 희망을 제공하고, 그들의 자활을 돕기위한 목적으로
2012년도 5월에 이 농장을 설립하게 되었습니다.
